The 90s were a strange time. It's weird to look back on and remember all the crazy things we did when we were in our youth. All of the hairstyles we swore were timeless, the times we put stickers on our hips before lying out in the sun in hopes of creating a butterfly-shaped tan line, all the JNCO jeans we begged our moms to buy. It's easy to look back and cringe. But we have to remember that we stood by them at the time. 

We didn't know that what we were doing would eventually epitomize the decade's fashion and style in such a way that it's laughable. We were just following trends and trying to keep up with the coolness factor of everyone we saw on MTV. It's the same thing the kids are doing now, with their labubus and their brainrot. One day (probably sooner than later), they will look back and cringe, too.
